Registration of Amendment to Long-Term Lease Contract (Supplementary)

It is the amendment of the data of a long-term lease contract concluded between the landlord, being the owner of the property or real estate unit, and the tenant benefiting from it, which includes amendments to the rental value, the duration, or both.

Required Documents

    Individuals

  • No Objection Certificate from the developer (in case of a real estate unit)

  • A duly notarized power of attorney (if applicable).

    • Business

  • No Objection Certificate from the developer (in case of a real estate unit)

  • a copy of the trade license and the articles of association must be provided In the case of companies

  • A duly notarized power of attorney (if applicable).

Process

  • 1 Submit the application through the Digital Services Portal of the Department of Lands and Real Estate Regulation
  • 2 Collection of fees
  • 3 Approve the application by the relevant department
  • 4 Downloading the title deed / ownership certificate / initial registration certificate from the digital ID wallet.

Service fees

  • AED 500 for registering the amendment or termination of a long-term lease of the property or real estate unit.

  • AED 350 for issuing a title deed, ownership certificate, or initial registration.
